StoRIES project Seminars - Master Student Training Programme

StoRIES is glad to announce the launch of a series of seminars for the year 2023, provided within the Master Student Training Programme.

This Programme aims to provide the opportunity for the students working on energy storage to get additional knowledge and skills necessary for the understanding of hybrid energy storage and its influence on its technical, economic, social and environmental surroundings. In 2023, 2024 and 2025, the StoRIES project will provide a series of 4 seminars conducted by outstanding researchers, to support students in extending their knowledge on a specific energy storage topic according to a multi-competencies approach.

Calendar for 2023:

• 28 November 2023: Supercapacitors: state-of-the-art, application and future perspective (by Prof. Andrea Balducci (University of Jena))
• 12 December 2023: Accelerated Materials design and industrial scale up for H2 Technologies (by Dr. Titichai Navessin)
• 14 December 2023: Lithium-ion batteries – Fundamentals, state of the art and anticipated further development (by Dr. Dominic Bresser (KIT))
• 20 December 2023: Sodium and other post-lithium batteries   – Fundamentals, state of the art and anticipated further development (by Prof. Stefano Passerini (La Sapienza/KIT))
